Fable investigated the problem, implemented a fix and added regression coverage. After the operator committed the change, the existing deployment process released it. Recorded checks on the hosted site confirmed that the selection survived navigation, returning and reloading.
Why keeping the selection matters
The Desk and Response Table are two views of the same work. Moving between them should preserve context: the user should return to the task they were already reviewing, not be dropped onto the first task in the list.
The defect did not delete, replace or modify any task. The page simply lost track of which task was selected when the user moved between the two views.
An agent-assisted correction
Fable investigated the navigation path and implemented a bounded fix that carries the selected task in the page URL. The change preserves the selection while moving from the Desk to the Response Table, returning to the Desk and reloading the page. It also retains unrelated URL parameters and falls back safely when a selection is missing or malformed.
Regression coverage exercised the navigation and reload path. In the recorded run, 49 tests passed across seven test files.
The operator then reviewed and committed the change. The existing build-on-push deployment process released that commit; the agent did not publish or deploy it independently.
Verified on the hosted product
Recorded hosted checks repeated the user journey in the owner role: select a task, move to the Response Table, return to the Desk and reload. The same selection remained active throughout the sequence. The reverse direction—from the table back to the Desk—also preserved the selection.
That closes the acceptance gap recorded during the earlier consumer walkthrough.
What this proves
This is evidence of a completed, agent-assisted correction verified on the hosted product. The recorded hosted checks cover the owner role; invited and member-role behavior still needs separate verification.
It is also a captured example of completed work, not evidence that continuous live activity capture is already operating end to end.
